Hello everyone, my name is Jim and I'm living in Vacaville, Ca. I grew up in Palm Springs, CA and learned how to play tennis in 5th grade (10 yrs old). Within two years I was ranked in the city tournaments. I lived and breathed tennis. I was a ball boy at many of the tennis tournaments in Indian Wells and the Coachella Valley (mostly the American Airlines tournaments). I had all the major players autographs, Bjorn Borg, Arthur Ashe, Jimmy Connors, John McEnroe, etc. I was actually within about 10 ft when Jimmy Connors threw some ladies coke on her! Awesome!
That was then. Now I am 40 pounds overweight and not in the best shape but I can still play pretty good. When I was younger I was well known for getting to balls that were "ungettable". But alas, time has taken its toll! I'm looking forward to reading and posting to these threads.
