Who the hell told Del Potro to wear a sleeveless top?! It looks absolutely ridiculous on him.
Roddick's XXXXL shirt?
Davydenko's current stuff?
Any other suggestions?

Funny, I was nearly defaulted from my first professional tournament for not wearing a collared shirt. They put a 5 minute time clock on me and I had to go into the pro shop at the club and buy a shirt as I had not brought any collared shirts. $60.00 Le Coq Sportif shirt that looked like crap with my Adidas clothing that I had to hear due to sponsorship reasons. What a waste of money! I was pissed! I lift alot of weights and look more like a football free safety now, but I still go with tradition and wear sleeved shirts. The game deserves to have a bit of tradition since it has such a long history. I like the fact that Wimbledon keeps clothing white. As for train wreck clothes, Maria Sharapova must have been so embarrassed by her outfit, she tanked her match. Geez. The peacock queen. She can't hold a candle to Kournikova in the looks or style category.
Wow! that's a real rip-off.. unless it turned out to be a lucky shirt ;)
Yeah, Sharapova does wear some unusual stuff. She wears the stuff with such confidence too. Got to give her credit for atleast trying. As for Anna, I haven't seen but two of her matches. I thought she was just considered good-looking and not really a style savy player.
Sharapova's kit was ridiculous. She obviously turned up to the wrong event (probably why she lost). She still looked hot but I agree anna was way sexier
Hey people we need to delete this whole thing before Coach comes back.. I believe he has a crush on Sharapova.
^I don't, being a female lol.
I think roddick has a huge shirt because he likes to use it as a towel. The collar of his new shirt looks like the russian flag.
I hate to say this and please forgive me, but Roddick looks like a punk to me. He is a jerk when he plays and whines like a toothing baby. I tell you, if I had ever played him and he floated a volley, I would drill him, regardless of where he was on the court. I have a new found dislike for him after watching the way he acted toward Feliciano Lopez. Andy "The Redneck" Roddick............... The only way he could look any dumber in his clothing would be to wear camouflage..........He would look quite natural in diapers and a baby bib........
I didn't see the match, what did he do?
Everyone says he 'grew up' a bit, but I haven't really watched him much so i can't judge.
If that was acting better, he truly was a classless idiot before then. Lopez seems to be a pretty decent guy. Roddick screams and yells and raised hell at the umpire when he didn't his way. Knowing me, I probably would have called him out on it had I had the pleasure of playing him. I used to coach I guy named Amit Taggert who was his big rival in the juniors. Amit said that Roddick was an absolute jerk and they nearly got into it everytime they played.
I think I do too many things but this year I'll spend more time on this forum.;)
I am so sad that Nadal has withdrew from the Australian open :( No one does look as good as Nadal in tank tops :D
There was always Agassi's XXXXS shorts which looked - and there's no other way to say this - gay.
^Well, he was from an earlier era where men unfortunately thought short shorts were okay...
I mean, speaking as a teenager, Old men wearing shorts over their knee's looks really weird, and middle aged men, would look probably as ridiculous.
Now, its definetly a lot better, but Aggasi's denim shorts were just unthinkable..
Actually, Agassi came onto the scene when short shorts made his denim ones look like bermuda shorts. It was bad! Shorts were pretty darn short until about 1991 or 1992. I had a bad, bad, bad experience at a major junior tournament back in 1990 where, after I split stepped coming into the net, a part of me decided to say hello to the crowd. I remember the gasp and the giggles from people watching. I was thoroughly embarrassed and longer shorts to at least mid thigh are in my tennis attire forever more.
^Lol agreed. Except for short sleeves as in tank tops which Nadal wears very well.
I've had this really weird question for all the men here?
Does wearing shorts over your knees make it harder to run??? Because most of the players, excepting Nadal of course, but even he keeps them high), have them higher their knees.
It depends how far below the knees you are talking about. Nadal used to wear the bermuda shorts but they were perfectly fitted so that it didn't restrict movement. His current length shorts I find ideal when I play. Most players wear shorts that end above the knee simply out of tradition and convention or because it's what they are accustomed to.
^Say about, totally covering the kneecap.
Lol, I'm glad nothing is too short for me, excepting Venus Williams' "illusion", and outfit..
I'm actually a pretty conservative person, so my shorts usually cover like 1/4- 3/8 of my calves.
lol, that's what makes life worth living :D
it does for me. i like to wear them at or slightly above the knee cap just for agility purposes. when i'm chilln, my shorts will be an inch or two below the knee cap. so are you saying that when you play tennis, you wear shorts that are below then knee by 3 or 4 inches? also, guys and girls shorts are obviously different. you probably wear something tight.. and i would think that would hinder your game even more than what guy 'long' shorts would.
i wonder if this has anything to do with Rafa's knee problem?..
^No, i think you misunderstood me. My shorts cover like 3/8 of my entire legs, like from hips to feet.
I doubt wearing shorts could cause Nadal to injure himself, unless he fell down like reallt badly
The shorts Rafa wears are light and comfortable enough to not hinder movement. They're not even that tight around the knee.
sorry, did misunderstand.
i don't know people. when i wear long pants, i feel the resistance of the jeans on my knees when i run and bend. and Rafa's shorts look restrictive no doubt. the knee cap is supposed to float there at the joint and even a little tug every stride could make a difference in the long run.
I have a pair of them, they don't drag on the knee. They're not multilayer like heavier basketball shorts, it's almost like they aren't there. Definitely the nicest pair of shorts I own but they were priced to match -______________-.
Leander Paes and Robby Ginepri are a couple more sleevless guys. That kit Nike made Federer wear to commemerate his 15th grand slam, the gold lemay ensemble including the bag, was terrible. They might as well had him out there with a purse and high heels. I don't know who was more uncomfortable, me watching it or Federer wearing it. I'll bet he had a word with Nike after that. And I have to agree with the Sharapova Aussie Open dress as well. WTF? My wife and I saw it in a Golfsmith on a mannequin before the tournament and immediate knew who would be sporting that. She really needs to worry a lot less about fashion and focus a lot more on her game. A whole lot more. Serena has had some fashion faux pas as well but the one that takes the cake for me is Jarkko Niemenen's vented back shirt of a few years ago. That was terrible.
BTW- Nadal wasn't wearing shorts, those were Capri Pants. He's also in dire need of changing his undergarment selection to something that doesn't ride up so much. I get so tired of watching him picking during a match. I'm sure it has to be distracting. Get comfortable dude.
Dominik Hrbaty, not Jarkko Nieminen, sorry Jarkko. http://rootzoo.com/articles/view/Ten...-Outfits_11058
I agree. Del Potro looks terrible. He's the worst dressed player on the tour.
