Can someone help my forehand???

hi all,
i am an intermediate to advanced player that plays with a full western forehand grip.recently i have been abroad and did not play any tennis for a 6 week period.now i cannot seem to hit a topspin forehand at all!i either come over the ball to fast and it roles to the net or i try to slow the swing down slightly and spray the ball out high and wide!all other aspects of my game r grand!any help/advice wouldbe greatly appreciared!

This is not a joke,,,,try and hit your forehand with as much topspin as you can, all the way into the back fence on the other side. Hit it like a line drive, not a lob, and then come back and tell me where it started landing.

thanks for your advice i probably lost about 30 tennis balls in the process but everything is sorted now!cheers mr. Wilson i might be calling on your services soon again!ha!
