rubber band
do people really use rubber bands? i always could swear i saw a rubber band on agassi's racquet but never believed it. i actually don't have a dampener on my racquet and it's not a good thing, i'm just too lazy to put one on, i wouldn't recommend very highly those head logo ones, they've tended to fall off on me while i was playing. otherwise i've never really heard whether or not one dampener was better than another
yep, agassi uses a rubber band. Roddick does too. They're pretty popular and work pretty well.
Yeah, many pros use rubber bands, the thick ones that come on the Sunday paper. However, they only last for about one match. I recommend the gel-filled worms, but here in the desert they don't last long either -- they melt!
I cas say few fords for using gel-filled worms: The area they influence is wider. I have many years experience on them. I have double worm. I can't play without them anymore...
got a link to where i can buy them? (worms)
like written in the title, yonex or head dampenner will be the best ones to use! :D
haha or you could get the new smiley faced onces that i use they look like this :) and also they sell some that are like this :(
really i'm not making this up...they work great and keep my spirits up :P
Vibration dampeners only eliminate some of the string vibration. They do nothing for racquet shock or vibration. It will eliminate much of the high pitch ring you hear when hitting the ball. That's mostly it, dampens sound.
