I bought a Head Flexpoint Radical MP about a year and a half ago and I love it. I was using a Wilson Hyper Hammer 5.3 before that and as I have found out, when my strings break on my flexpoint in a match, its near impossible to use the hyper hammer. I've decided its about time to buy a backup racket. The Head Liquidmetal Radical rackets have gone down in price to about $80 now and I would like to save the money and get one to use as a backup. I have never hit with one before so I don't know if it would be similar to the flexpoint radical mp. Have any of you ever played with both of them? Are they similar enough that I could get the liquidmetal and use it as a backup? Thanks

Yes, the Flexpoint Radical and the Liquidmetal Radical are very similar with almost identical specs. Let me stress similar but not identical. It's probably the closest you can get without buying the same racquet.

Why not just hunt for a used Head on ebay..IMO you are better to have the same models in your bag
