Im new to this forum and did a quick search on tennisball machines, and came up with some good pro's and cons about them. I just wanted to know if many players use them on a regular basis and which functions would most people like to see on the machines.
I say this because i know there is a line down the middle where some people swear by them and some, swear at them! ;)
we actually manufacture tennisball machines in australia and have been working on the latest technology with these machines , any suggestions or feedback will be apprectiated!

Welcome to the forum. I feel a tennis ball machine's biggest hurdle is simply imitating a real opponents shot selection. I've seen ones that can vary angle and speed.. depth and spin - yet none can put all four aspects together in random. I am saying that at the moment, there is no substitute for a tennis partner.

Which ones do you like the best for ease of use, portability, and varying shots? I am thinking of a Lobster, but which model would work for an intermediate player who wants to play more. Partners are tough to find at her level during the school year.
