So i was playing tennis the other day outside, when i hit a forehand all of the sudden a sharp sharp pain shot across my elbow and into my forearm and stayed for maybe an hour.
Later it left and never came back.
I havent had it since, but i was wondering if this is like tennis elbow or if it happens to everyone??

prolly not tennis elbow
i had tennis elbow at one point. i can tell you in my experience that it was a nagging pain at the base on the outside of the forearm. it wasn't necessarily sharp, it just wouldn't go away. so i doubt if you've only felt the pain once and if it was sharp then it's probably not tennis elbow.
also it came about cause i had just made a pretty big change in the racquet i was using, including grip size. i wonder if maybe you might've strained/torn something.

I agree. If it does not come back I would not sweat it. If it does come back, take a few days off and see if that helps. If not, pick up the phone and call the doctor.

You can keep tennis elbow at bay simply by performing exercises that target the forearm muscles. I came across a website that you might want to check, could be some good info in there...
