I do agree Justine did have one very effective BH regardless of how many titles she's amounted. That's a hard question because there are so many to choose from. I don't think I'd put Andy Roddick on that list but I would certainly consider Andre Agassi somewhere in the top ten of that.

Why don't you create a Poll and let's see how it pans out?
The only acceptable loss is when your opponent was better than you on that given day.
It is never acceptable to lose when your opponent was not.

    Smile Backhand

    Hi,

I would say I prefer Justine's backhand which is technicaly impechable.

Look for old videos in the net for the greatest backhand I've ever seen, under "Ken Rosewall" the guy that played ten Wimbledon finals without ever winning one. His backhand is really something to die for.

he was forty when he played the last one against Jimbo who, at the time was very young and behaved like a real "jimbo".

By the way, do you know why Jimmy Connors was known by the nickname of "Jimbo"?

    Thumbs up The Ladies...........

While I agree that Justine had one of the best backhands on the ladies side, I really preferred Amelie Mauresmo's backhand as it was more fluid without the extreme backhand grip (up-side down semi western forehand) that Justine used. Just my opinion
