    It's time for Andy Roddick

Andy is on fire at the Aus Open (OK so is Federer...but surely Federer has to lose some time?)

Andy also ha a great record at the AO - this from http://www.tennisinsight.com/match_p...r=2&activity=3

2002: 2nd Rnd loss to Lubeman - Retired hurt so that doesn't count!
2003: SF loss to Shaker - but again, that was after beating Younes 21-19 in 5th set QF...fatigue
2004:QF loss to Safin...what a match 6-4 in 5th set to Safin is Respect.
2005: SF loss to Mr C'mon - OK that was poor - but Mr C'mon was on fire at the time...
2006: ON FIRE! Watch hime beat Nalbandian in the SF and Federer in the F...?

after losing 1st rnd US Open to Muller Andy has something to prove - Go A-Rod!

Your an idiot. Second round loss to Lubeman. Who? Shaker. Who? I will give you Safin. Your defending of Roddick is really lame. He can only win against average players. Sucks against Federer, Safin and Nadal.

Andy Roddick is a loser. He needs to get back to the basics, and learn how to play rallies and THINK on the court. His loss to Pavel proves how inept he is. Remember Sampras--he vomitted more but still won!

Yeh roddick has not had a very good year.. and i think he will drop this year also. unless he can find more dimensions to his game, he is in trouble.

It looks like he will be another "runner-up" like Tim.

I used to be a Roddick fan, as I like to see him play. As time went by
and after seeing his attitude in person, it was a total turn off. Just
last year at Legg Mason, someone fell out in the stands from heat
exhaustion while he was playing. He acted like he was getting pissed
because he was missing out on the attention. He was extremely picky
about certain things that went on throughout the match.

Hopefully he is learning with all these loses that you can't get too beside
yourself and get too cocky. If he wants to be that way, when he falls
down, he needs to learn how to take it.

One of the mistakes that I think Roddick made was firing Brad Gilbert.
He hasn't done a thing since then.

I'd love to see Federer win this tournament. If someone can turn out
Nadal's lights. Speaking of Nadal, when he was at the U.S. Open last
year, he had no choice but to behave himself and not jump around the
court like he's in a boxing ring. He learned from the New York crowd. He
    cooled down very quickly.

I SEE RODDICK FINALLY MADE IT TO A FINAL(RCA cHAMP.) THIS YEAR, ONLY TO LOSE TO BLAKE TODAY. THAT BOY HAS SOME SERIOUS MENTAL ISSUES TO SOLVE, ON AND OFF THE COURT. HE IS NOW 1-10 IN REACHING FINALS THIS YEAR.

HE'S AT LEAST BEATEN 1 TOP TEN PLAYER(BAGDALIS)THIS YEAR, BUT STILL COUDN'T MAKE IT TO THAT FINAL(ITALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP).

WITH FEDERER AND NADAL, I DON'T SEE HIM WINNING ANY MAJORS FOR TEN YEARS.

MAYBE ANDY SHOULD PULL A KOURNAKOVA AND GO HOLLYWOOD!

    HE'S LUCKY GIRLS DIG HIM.

Andy has loads of talent. He can still be a threat if, as fedroger said, solve some mental issues. For whatever reason he's lost confidence and plays like it. His strategy is weak, he doesn't capitalize on opportunities during points as quickly as he used too, and maybe it would help if girls didn't dig him so much. Seeing him give a tour of the Playboy mansion on TV definitely makes you question where he places his efforts. Hope to see him make a resurgence though.
