    USTA Sectional Championships

Are there any players interested in discussing their experiences at recent Sectional Championships and/or preparing for Nationals? Sectionals just concluded, and as always it was great fun (my 10th time). Some of you may be preparing to go on to Nationals (I've been twice).

Well, Nationals begin this weekend in Indian Wells (4.5 and 5.0) then continue for the next several weekends in Las Vegas and Phoenix as well. I am surprised that no one has posted comments on this thread. I guess everyone going to Nationals is too busy getting ready LOL, and perhaps others who have checked in here didn't have any experience or interest in the amateur championships in the United States (there have been 62 visitors). Too bad because it is really a very interesting tennis experience and there is much to be learned from it. Considering that there are over 600,000 USTA members who play competitively throughout the 17 sections I am surprised that no one on this web site wanted to offer a remark. I will post results as they become available in the event someone might find it interesting.

Doesn't anybody out there have any comments? This is the biggest event of the year for the USTA! The teams who make it to the tournament and especially those who place 4th-1st really deserve some attention. All you USTA players and captains - this could be you next year!
