    Question What am I doing?

...Notice I didn't say wrong. The results lead me to believe I'm doing nothing wrong, perse. Just that I have no idea what I'm doing. Let me provide some background information. I'm a lefty serve and volleyer and my best shot is without doubt my back hand but I have some mean overhead and slice shots. My backhand strokes are crazy, not so for my forehand, they're more eh. Okay, now:

Ever have a shot that bounces really high to your backhand and you can't back up in time, you can't move to your forehand. I sort of leap and hit a backhand like a volley with both arms outstretched. I provides this amazing down-the-line shot that is in 99% of the time, only been out once. What AM I doing? I'm not sure even what spin it is, it's just producing the crazy shot? Of course, I don't mind......but...still..I'd like to know what's going on!

i think ive seen that sort of a shot, though it may be slightly different than yours. for instance Monfils' backhand - is it something like that? regardless, it works so use it.
