    USPTA National Convention Trade Show

The USPTA World Conference on Tennis will be held Sept. 15-20 at the La Quinta Resort and Club in La Quinta, Calif. The conference is the premier educational event for the tennis industry, including the nationís largest tennis-only buying show and silent auction, open to the public. More details about the conference, including a list of trade show vendors, are available at www.uspta.com or by calling USPTA at 800-877-8248. http://www.laquintaresort.com/

Focused, are you involved in the USPTA in some way? If so, let me know as I have another question for you.

The only vendor list I could find is at http://www.uspta.com/html/2008Floorplan.pdf although I was hoping to find one with links to all the vendor websites. If there's another page with vendor website links or just a better list overall, please post that direct link if you don't mind.

    Hi John,

No, I am not involved with the USPTA, but I have several friends who are members and teaching pros. If you would like to post a question I will forward it and get an answer for you. I don't know of any other trade show info/vendor list other than the one posted on the USPTA web site. You might want to contact the listed vendors directly. There are several tennis clothing/shoe/equipment vendors listed so there should be some good bargains. There will also be a charity fundraiser silent auction which may include tennis items like racquets autographed by top pros. I believe there is also a full bar and dinner being offered. It is a worthwhile event for anyone in the Palm Desert area to check out.

Sure, I would appreciate that. I was looking around on the USPTA website and noticed that they don't have a forum on their site for members to use. So, I wanted to offer to setup a forum here for them if they would use it. Feel free to pass that offer along if you would like to do so.

the PTR has something similar going on in Feb 09. usually the vendors are only available to USPTA members but every tennis manufacturer that does business with the USPTA should pretty much be there.

    John,

We do have a brief description of buying show exhibitors with links to their Web pages. http://usptaworldconference.com/Buyi...xhibitors.html All of them aren't there yet, but we've requested they send us the information.

We also have a forum for members, http://forums.uspta.com, but it's not widely used.

    I hope this information helps!
