    2500 Tennis Clubs Close Down

According to the British LTA 2500 Tennis Clubs have closed down in recent years! How can such a rich Tennis nation let this happen? Does anyone know of a club local to them that has closed down? Is there any chance of it being resurrected?? I know many Tennis Coaches who would love to start their own Tennis Clubs if given the chance.

Hi JohnMTI, welcome to TW! I'm not sure about all those clubs closing down but I suspect that it might be economy related. I would have much rather seen those 2500 clubs merge into maybe 1000 clubs instead of so many closing down completely.

    Dear JohnMTI,

Sorry to hear so many tennis clubs have closed down in England in the recent years. The easiest solution is for all the coaches to teach the modern, easy way, and fill the courts to the max. Please check my website for the solution.
    Best regards, Oscar
