    new racquet

Hi guys, just wanting some advice. I used to use a YonexR22 back in the 80s, early 90s (am resuming tennis after a long break) and would like to buy a new racquet along the same lines. That is light and easy to use. I've still got my old R27 but I never liked it. I know it's a matter of trying some out but I just thought someone might have used an R22 in the past and now uses something a little similar. Thanks.

    Talking Tennis Warehouse

Tennis Warehouse has a racquet finder that helps match up racquets.
    Weight, power level, balance etc:
Take a look around though there has been some nice frames made since then

Thanks haretrigger, I've got to say that since I started looking around I'm amazed at how many different racquet models are out there. It seems there are so many more on offer now than there were 20 years ago. I see the prices seem to have generally stayed the same too which is good. Thanks again.

    Talking Take A LOOK

If you want something different take a look at the Nexxoline Racquets.
They have the ergonomic head with a curved handle. I have 2 and just ordered 2 more. They look funny but, they work well.
You use the length of the racquet as opposed to the width to hit with.
This gives more topspin. The angle of the head gives vicious slice on both sides. Also on half volleys you dont have to bend you hit them as topspin ground strokes. This is again due to the curved handle and ergonomic head. The curved handle is a great grip and is desigined to reduce any injuries or allow people with joint problems to play. There is a small learning curve but worth it. After playing with these i will never play with another racquet
