New Member-Riverside, CA-Practice Court?
Hello,
Would like to find a practice wall court in Riverside CA--and after I get some time in, I would like to find other beginners for fun tennis (vs super competitive tennis.) Have played a little on the Shamel courts, and live up the hill from there toward Woodcrest. I have taken a few lessons, but not played in a year or so.
Any suggestions for locating a practice wall in Riverside?
I need the exercise!
Regards,
Ron

I hope you get a reply from Members that live in or around the Riverside area but what I use to do is hit against the walls of Racquet Ball Courts, which many are indoors as well.
Good Luck & Welcome to TennisW,

The only acceptable loss is when your opponent was better than you on that given day.
It is never acceptable to lose when your opponent was not.

How do I Change my User Name/Profile
I didn't expect to see my whole name as my username on this forum. I see most use a nickname. How can I go about changing my visible name here to a nickname too?
Thanks,
Ron

Hello Ron, welcome to TennisW.com!
Reply back with what you would like your username changed to and I'll take care of that.

If that nickname hasn't been used, I would appreciate the substitution for my whole name. And, then please let me know what I sign in with...???
And then please delete this thread, and I will start over with my new onsite name.
Thanks in advance.
Ron

Hey Ron, "RDR-911" is now your new onsite name. No need to start over as your username has been updated for your account and appears with any messages you have posted. Your first username is no longer on the site. You login with RDR-911 as your username and your password is still the same.

John, can you contact coach and have him remove my full name from his quote above?
Thanks,
Ron

Tennis wall.
Hi Ron,
I don't know how far Woodcrest is, but does sound close. There is a smaller plywood wall at the tennis courts at a local park on Magnolia and Van Buren.
It's OK and safe. Good luck. Let me know when your ready to play.
Ron.
PS does 911 mean "there's no substitute"?
