Hey all

Just a wee "hello" from myself in Scotland! I

'm new to this forum, having just found the details on a web search. An avid tennis fan, I'm 34 and have been playing since I was 6 years old. It's a passion and saviour in my life, and a topic which I will happliy discuss any time.

A regular player and elementary coach, I'm a child of the seventies, and the tennis icons of that era are those with whom I identify best, namely Mac, Naratilova, Evert et al.

Hi elenchus!---I'm Richard...been here a long time...both as a registered member and as a tennis player (I'm 49.)--

I can remember not only Martina (the first) and Johnny Mac, but Stan Smith, Bjorn Borg, Arthur Ashe, and others. Originally from Southern California, I'm here in Tucson, Arizona...where I make a lot of demands on the University of Arizona's open-door policy. I don't get out and hit like I used to...

I see we've recenly passed 5,000 members, which makes this one of the larger tennis bulletin boards.
