Be a fighter, do not be a quitter

Only the end of the match can stop you figuring out what to do

It is easier to attack than to defend

Hit it as hard as you can control

Stcik to the tactic you are winning with

Tennis is like a chess where player has to run

When you do not know what to do hit the ball where it came from

    Be actor not reactor

Working up an opening from backcourt before taking the offensive

    Controlled agresiveness

    Sing a song

When going gets tough, tough gets going

It is all in the state of mind

    Competition breeds excellence

There is not substitute for match play

Everybody needs to be driven, everybody needs ambition

Exceptiomal talent is a requisite in every sport

Give your best no matter what

    Compete within yourself

    Persistance, patience, practice

Tennis is relentness pursuit of the ideal contact point

regarding patience, it is said that the road to success runs uphill;so do not expect to break any speed records

the dedicated coach never knows enough or stops learning

Concentration comes naturally when we are doing what we enjoy

You want to win the point;you do not want your opponent to lose it

Learning takes time, and not just passage of time, but the time spent in thoughtful and meaningful practice.

Work on your game so you can make your game work for you in competitive play.

It's posted hundreds of times around the net and each time I've seen the quote it is attributed to Billy Jean King. I don't know when or where she said it nor have I personally seen any video where she said it. All I know is that she gets credit for that quote nearly everywhere.

    Yeah, it is quite funny.
