The only acceptable loss is when your opponent was better than you on that given day.
It is never acceptable to lose when your opponent was not.

Well I was going to wait and jump on the Bandwagon but I guess I'll go ahead and stick my foot out. Did you happen to see or hear of Roger's Match in Monte Carlo ? OMG !!

If he loses in the 1st Round I won't be surprised and that's a very sad statement about the former #1 Player in the World.

yes, i did watch it. Wawrinka didnt play exceptionally well either. now i know every player can get mad or serious during a match, but when Roger started yelling, i had a feeling the game was over.

btw, i voted Gilles Simon simply because i like the kid. it will be very interesting to see him at Wimbledon and the US Open this year. if i were gambling, i would actually say Federer, believe it or not.

COME ON PEOPLE .. PLEASE DON'T TELL ME WE'RE GOING TO GO THROUGH THE ENTIRE FRENCH OPEN AND I'M NOT GOING TO HAVE ANY ONE HERE THAT WANTS TO TALK ABOUT IT

I LIVE FOR THESE GRAND SLAM EVENTS TO GET MY JUICES FLOWING. RIGHT NOW, THE ONLY PEOPLE THAT ARE TALKING ABOUT THE FRENCH ARE THE KIDS I WORK WITH WHO KNOW NOTHING OTHER THAN WHAT I TELL THEM.

They have an opinion and if I disagree, they change their argument to fit what I'm saying. That's not what I want, if you believe something it's important to maintain your convictions unless of course you're dead wrong about something.

People we have a Poll here .. show us what you think !

    Hi My Friend ~

I'm not certain you understood the question being asked Harwin. You may wish to read it once more. We are assuming Nadal is a shoe-in.

Well I can't change my vote but I will say this, two weeks ago I watched Stanislas Wawrinka dispatch Roger Federer and came down heavy on Roger for that beating because as I saw it, Wawrinka didn't have the weapons to beat someone of Roger's capabilities.

People, I was wrong to think this. As you know, he is currently #12 which is actually a slip from being #6 not too long ago and last week I watched him dispatch some very heavy hitters which almost included Djokovic. He actually let Novak off the hook in the 3rd Set, which was a surprise because he had all the momentum going into the 3rd with an immediate break of serve against Djokovic and then, for some unknown reason, Stanislas just let off the gas.

So you tell me, Stanislas Wawrinka is not tall and imposing. He's not fast, he doesn't possess a huge serve nor are his groundstrokes so heavy his opponents have no chance of getting to the ball. He's consistent but so are most of the Clay Court Specialist. So why is it that this stocky built Player able to withstand the pounding the best in the business can give and come out with a win?

I must watch him a little more before I give my thoughts on this. Look for him to go deep in the Tournament for sure.

    seriously, who voted Roddick?

  15. #15
who voted for Roddick? you must be kidding right? I pick Roger as my first pick , second would be A. Murray. I still think Federer still a atleast a slam in him, and the French is on top of his list.
