Mark Your Calendars - May 17th
On May 17th 2009 - The All England Tennis Club will present two Grand Events.
The unveiling of their new Retractable Roof on Centre Court and for this ground-breaking event the All England Club decided to have a show befitting the occasion by inviting none other than a Women's Single's Match featuring Steffi Graf vs Kim Cjlisters in one match followed by (If that were not good enough) a Doubles Match featuring Tim Henman / Kim Cjlisters vs Mr & Mrs Andre & Stephanie Agassi.
The only acceptable loss is when your opponent was better than you on that given day.
It is never acceptable to lose when your opponent was not.

great. this should be a good show. do you know if the tennis channel will air any of it?
-
that sounds great. I don't know if it will air on TV but I will definitely being finding it online
-
Will it show it on foxtel in Australia,
I have all sports channels so I should be able to watch it if it is to come on?
-
Gang ~
I never thought about whether it would be aired or not. Now you all have me very worried. I suppose worse case scenario, YouTube will have something but I don't get clear reception on YouTube.
I must hunt down the answer to this and get back to you
* Update *

Could you record it on DVD and maybe make it available to whom ever wants to see it? I know I'd pay you for your effort Harwin

TennisW.Com --- So sorry, I don't have a DVD recorder, only a Player. I shall no doubt record it on a tape in case I should miss the BBC 2 transmission.
-
the Tennis channel did show this afterall.

In all my years of watching tennis at Wimbledon and On-line, I have never seen the Centre Court looking so magnificent ! It is said that the Centre Court at Queen's Club London is the best grass court in the world, but I do think it is now 2nd best to Wimbledon. I hope you were all able to watch the event yesterday (Sunday) .

yeah that was a beautiful sight to behold and some good tennis to boot.

Okay I missed it. Anyone know where I can find it?
-
Actually I missed it as well due to having a Family Reunion and I forgot to record it but the Tennis Channel will undoubtedly air it again. We may have to wait a while but I'll check their schedule. You might look on TTC Website and see if they have a video of the event.
For anyone that missed it such as myself, you may see it here
