    Ultimate Control Racquet

I'm asking for help from anyone and everyone here. There are thousands of racquets on the market now days. I am looking for a tennis racquet that provides the ultimate in control. I do not want any assistance from the racquet in the power department. It is easier for me to work on power and pace rather than control. Does anybody know of such a racquet?

Talking Be carefull what you ask for

Control is mostly brought about by follow through and racquet power level.
If the racquet is too powerfull the ball will fly and you will pull up on your stroke to bring it in.
To find a racquet get one that you can give the ball a good WACK and it will go in and also feels good at contact.

follow through - understood. racquet power level - or lack there of?

yeah, that's exactly what i want. a racquet with feedback that isn't overwhelming. i'm likely to demo some racquets soon. now i just need to narrow it down to five (the maximum tenniswarehouse allows).

    Talking Power

All racquets have power levels and, these are usually displayed as a # or swing style.
Since you are going to TW look at the player and tweener racquet secelection
They will have a lot of feedback on different racquets playing style.
18x20 string pattern is considered a control pattern. Do try a 16x18 and 16x19 string pattern as well.
Another avenue is to look at some of the Classic Racquets from the late 80,s early 90,s. This is what i play with, The advantages are they have been tested for 20 yr to get their status. Also they(IMO) play better than a lot of newer frames. They are for the most part very afforadable. Right now i am playing with a Rossignol 6.60 and it suits me down to the ground!

GAMMA is not that well know but i like their products. They put a lot of build quality in their racquets.

    Talking 330x

Just looked at TW site and they have a new Gamma 330X wht not demo it? Honestly Gamma puts out good racquets so put this in your pile of demos if you can use a 95sq in head. Or the one next to it is a little ligther and has 100 head, Both are new models

Just purchased 2 KBlade Tour Racquets from a Tennis Store that was closing ( waited 45 min to checkout : ). I hit with em' and they are the Ultimate Pro Racquet. Hit and look like the Pro-Staff only more solid and more control.

The reason I bought them on Sale : )
This 93 sq inch player's racquet offers impressive feel and responsiveness as well as a manageable weight and generous sweetspot. Length: 27". Headsize: 93sq. in.
    Price: $199.00, ( My price: alot cheaper : )

Wish I was good enough to play with them but I'm not as good as I once was so I play with the K Pro Open ( Sometimes better than I ever was : )
