    +1 Serena made her life a lot more difficult with that one statement. she placed herself under pressure and now she's out.

    This is the first time in a very long drought that I picked the Winner at the beginning of the Tournament.

    Congrats Svetlana Kuznetsova -

    I watched her play during the French Warmup Tourneys and saw that she had the talent to win all that was left was her determination to pull through when it got tough. After her win over Serena, I knew she would pull it off. Personally, I wasn't worried about Dinera because I knew the occasion would be too big for her.

    The only acceptable loss is when your opponent was better than you on that given day.
    It is never acceptable to lose when your opponent was not.

    * 2009 French Open Champion - Roger Federer *

    Well even though I picked the Female Champion Svetlana Kuznetsova and i take pride in doing so, I will also step up to the plate and declare that I was one that wrote Roger off as having no chance this year. Even though he beat Rafa in Madrid, that to me was a whole different ballgame and I've seen that before with Ivan Lendl beating his nemesis Boris Becker at Queen's Club just prior to Wimbledon and subsequently falling short when it mattered most.

    But Roger Federer beat the crap out of Robin Soderling today and I have to say I was surprised because Robin was no where near the guy who played the past two weeks. I think the occasion was too much for him.

    Well Congrats Roger Federer - 14 Grand Slam Titles equal to Pete Sampras and the Holder of all four Major Titles equal Andre Agassi.
