    Rafael Nadal injured

Rafa will not compete at Wimbledon '09!!! Apparently his knees are giving him trouble.

ya, but i think i might be more exciting to c som1 other than nadal and federer play a final at wimbledon. obviously federer still probably will but not against nadal btw r they keeping the same seeds? if so who would be the highest seeds from their sections is it Roddick, Djocovic, murray and fedderer if so the bracket with roddick would b wide open

i don't think Murray nor Djokovic have a good chance. I'm hoping Juan Martin Del Potro and Gilles Simon meet.

Yes, the draw had been made.
He was planning on playing. But in his last match (before being eliminated) in the French Open was the final blow, so he decided to leave around the Semi's or 4th round (not sure) of the Roland Garros.

Nadal didn't withdraw from Roland Garros.. he simply lost to Soderling. If his knees where in great shape, he may have beat Soderling, but there is no way to really ever find out.

Yes, I know that. I mean he decided to NOT PLAY in Wimbeldon after that game. He didn't retired Roland Garros. He lost to Soderling and also in the same match decided to not play.

how did he decide in the same match not to play?
HE DID PLAY. He only decided not to play wimbledon a few days before it started.

    Oh my goodness,
He decided that his leg wasn't in good condition to play THEN.
It was all over the Sports Channels. Fox, Eurosport 1, 12.
He actually said publicly a couple of hours after the match that he hadn't played his best due to his leg pain.
Why am I fighting to live, if I'm just living to fight
Why am I trying to see, when there aint nothing in sight
Why am I trying to give, when no one gives me a try
Why am I dying to live, if I'm just living to die?

lol, no he didnt. Anyone can cover that for me.
He said he had slightly sore knees but that wasnt why he lost the match, it was because the was hitting to short and too passive.
If his "leg" was in such bad condition he would have pulled out - he just wasnt the best player on the day.

I can give you links to around 10 interviews he did to prove my point if you wish?

    I don't need any evidence.
I watched the Fox Sports Channels, Eurosport 1, Sports Live.
He decided not to play the day he lost, but he announced it publicly around 4 days before Wimbeldon.
He said himself that he decided a while ago but wanted to see if his knees could get any better. It was all over the Spanish News.
