and here I go... bought a Wilson K Six One 95 :p
Saw the price come down at the tennisware house and bought it on a whimp.
Was wanting to do the hybird string thing (Babola Hurricane Pro tour 17 + Wilson NXT 17) US tenniswarehouse run out of stock for the racket itself (4 1/4 grip)
So bought it in the tenniswarehouse Australia instead.... AUD$50 more and stock sensation string instead. But yeah, what the hell
Probably will buy the Dunlop 4D 300 next month....
On no.... the sport equipment shopping sphere starts again.... (I tend to do it a lot whenever I hook onto a game!)

congratulations be sure to give the racquet some time to warm up to you.. otherwise you could end up with a broken 6.1
so your spring/summer season is upon you soon as you live in the southern hemisphere.. lucky you

I heartily endorse this thread.
I have the same stick, and love it to death...except when it misses an easy overhead, then I'm not so sure

I've recently change from wilson k six one 95. I hated it:P. Now i'm playing with Head extremePRO which is alot better for me (larger raquet size then six one 95) and i really love it!

Does the Microgel provide much feedback? I think my next racquet will be a Head Youtek, but I am considering the microgels.

The YouTek is a funny technology.... The faster you swing and the frame gets harder.
Swing slower than the frame goes more flexible....
They should invent something like this in golf shafts!
But anyway my experience with the YouTek is not great - but that's prior to know what YouTek actually does!
Now I am keen to try it again.

how about the microgel racquets? and are you discouraging the purchase of YouTek racquets?
-
No, not at all.
When I wrote my review on the YouTek racket I honestly had NO IDEA what YouTek technology do. Hence I said I had troubles to adjust the speed I should swing the racket.
Hence now I am keen to try it again

I use topspin alot so Microgel is perfect for me. Head Youtek is cool too, but i prefer Microgel more.
