    I think it was instinct, it just felt weird to me.
    Back then I didn't know how to control the ball, so I ended up hitting crosscourt and losing the point.

    Like for split steps, it was just like automatic. Weird..

    Do you think that martial arts helps in tennis?
    Like with anticipation and timing and that kind of stuff.

    Absolutely. i'm not really into MA, but i'll take that over boxing or wrestling any day. now i would imagine it would be especially helpful if you trained in MA with tennis in mind. though mabe not because you could develop some kind of abnormal stroke. i dont know 03White

    Sometimes its so hard to just trust yourself and go with your gut. . . (in life also).
    I think beginners might actually have it easier, in that they can't really think", that much..
