Most exciting player ever?
Most exciting player ever?

I am going with the 1988 Andre Agassi when he broke onto the scene. That guy changed tennis. I saw it. I didn't like him at the time because of his brashness, but I like him now and have to give him credit. He used to wipe the court with people with that forehand that year. It was amazing. Plus, he wore crazy clothes and the hair (wig) spoke for itself. He was amazing, even to his detractors. I will also add the volatile Marat Safin and Goran Ivanisevic. You never knew if you were going to get unbelievably brilliant tennis or crazed racquet breaking with those two. It was almost soap opera like........ (How could we forget McEnroe back in the day?!?!?!?)

I always enjoyed watching Becker and Mcenroe, but more recently Sampras' style, Gonzalez's raw power and temperament and Verdasco's slick groundstrokes have been the most exciting ssights.

The most exciting player is by far Roger Federer. The things he has done with a racket are just breathtaking. His smooth strokes and gliding like movement are a joy to watch.

The word exciting doesn't fit Roger for me. I don't know what word would work best, but his game glues many of us to the tv. Good choice.

Nadal, watching him play Agassi at Wimbledon 2006 is what got me started on tennis.

Lew Hoad and Ken Rosewall I remember with joy !
