Tennis club/ tennis academy in Bangkok, Thailand

    Hi

I recently moved to Bangkok, Thailand and I m looking for a nice tennis club since I love to play tennis. Please don't give me an advert for a certain club, I d just like to have your honest opinion.
I heard quite some good things about lesmashclub. Anyone heard of them? They say the courts are the same ones as the US Open? Anyone knows if this is true?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

    Hello,

Le smash club is very good. They have got 7 courts, and yes, the surface is great!! I don t know if it they are the US Open ones, but they reaally are very good and, in my opinion, the best in Bangkok!

Besides that (I don't know if this is useful info for you) I usually play at night since my work doesn t allow me to play in the afternoon or morning. And their lighting system is working very good indeed, something I had a problem with at other clubs..

If you re interested in coaching, they ve got some good coaches there. I just prefer to play some tennis without any coachingm but some friends of mine had some classes their, and they were very satisfied..

Just let me know if you d like some more info!

Is it worth the money they re asking? I mean, is it good value for money?

The annual fee is modest (11,000 baht) and at some point the membership will close when their target number is reached... though I don't have that information. You can still play as a non-member and of course the fees are a bit higher.

If you are looking for more players at your level, I can help you connect with them. mef505 at gmail dot com.

I believe the annual fee is 9,500 Baht. As a member you pay 100Baht to book a court, non-members pay 300Baht (although I m not entirely sure about the non-member prices).

Anyway, I think it s good value for money, absolutely!
