    String Choice?

I have always played with what ever I was given and I didn't seem to mater. However, since I am older and know coaching I thought that I'd experiment and learn a couple of things about strings.

My weapon is a Liquid metal prestige (Mid size)

When I first bought it from TW I choose NXT 17ga. Now I have discoving that these stings are about to break. I've only had these strings since April and I hit maybe twice a month. Any recomendations? During HS I hit with Wilson problend.

    Strings

NXT is a "soft" string (multifilament) unless you are playing with the NXT Gut, that is even worse for durabilty. If you are a string breaker (heavy spin shots, power shots) you should consider a hybrid job (soft string on crosses and stiff string on mains), or just switch to standard solid core single wrap synthetic strings or special construction strings. If your elbow can take it, try the stiff polyester type strings like these:

You will have to come to your own conclusions about what kind of stringbed stiffness fits your swing style.
