    Tennis Backboard questions

I want to buy a backboard, but they are tremendously expensive. Does anyone know where I could buy a used one in the Los Angeles area? (Maybe a park or club that is remodelling?)

Also, what type of backboard should I get if I end up buying new? There seem to be different materials.

    Thanks

    new driveway tennis backboard

I am producing a new tennis backboard intended for use in your driveway (or on a court) and to be portable. It is much less expensive than other backboards on the market. It will be priced at $795. The backboard includes foam and a fabric cover over a semi-rigid backing layer. The ball embeds in the foam and comes back a shorter distance than from a conventional backboard. The result is you can rally a long time without missing. You can really groove your strokes. The foam and fabric cover also mean it is very quiet. You will not bother your neighbors with the noise. Because the foam deadens the impact, you can really slam away at it and the ball still comes back nice and easy to you, so you can get a ton of exercise and vent your agressions if you want. The backboard is lightweight and can be moved by one person. So you can use it in your driveway, and then when you are done move it aside. Or you can place it in your yard next to your driveway so you don't have to move it to move your car. Our website is www.tennisbackboard.net.
