    Del Potro and Gonzales

Hi everyone - as I write this it is Christmas day so seasons greetings to all.

Does anyone know the latest as to what is happening with Del Potro and Gonzales? I can't seem to find any info online and they have both disappeared off the ATP top 100. I know Del Potro tried to come back after his wrist injury a few months ago but haven't heard anything for a while.

Del Potro is playing Sydney with a wildcard and the Aust Open.

Gonzalez has had a hip operation and will be out for some months - won't play the AO.

Thanks for that ilendl. It would be good to have Del Potro back up there and back to his best. Can't say it's going to be easy for Gonzalez to come back after a hip operation at 30 but hope he does.

My pleasure - I fear you are right about Gonzo, particularly as he's struggled with other injuries as well.
Shame - I loved his forehand - the power he generated was extraordinary.
He also played in one of the best matches I've seen at the Aust Open - against Richard Gasquet a couple of years back.
