The only acceptable loss is when your opponent was better than you on that given day.
It is never acceptable to lose when your opponent was not.

Absolutely Correct ... I have many Mary pictures that I felt would be in bad taste to post in my Gallery however I think I just might post them afterall.

    Who is Mary Pierce?
    This photo is creepy btw,
I think her real name should be Toshio.
Why am I fighting to live, if I'm just living to fight
Why am I trying to see, when there aint nothing in sight
Why am I trying to give, when no one gives me a try
Why am I dying to live, if I'm just living to die?

She was one of the top females players in the 90's. Awesome player with big power, but a major head case. I worked out with her some, but half the time she wouldn't show up for the hitting session and half of those times she never called to let me know that she wouldn't make it. She was a really sweet girl, but she could get pissy really quickly too. Her father was truly the psycho father of tennis. He was a true nutcase. He was American and her mother was French. She was a Nick Bollettieri prodigy. Google her. She won a couple of majors. When she was hitting well, she would knock any female off the court. That includes both Williams sisters. But when she was off, whew! But she truly hit mega hard from both sides.

    Robyna ~

To elaborate on what TK is saying about Mary's father, when speaking about parents who were out of control making the life of their Tennis child turned pro, a living hell, Mary's Father and Jelena Dokic's Father are a toss up on which was the worst.

They were so bad that I believe they both were banned from entering any Tournaments their kids played in. Jelena's dad was also so horrible that it literally contributed in her quitting the Tour prematurely. Although Jelena has attempted a return this year during the Australian Open, she has been away too long and isn't use to level of today's game on the women's side.

Mary is far more independent that Jelena and I believe she got to a place where she told her father what to do with his opinions.
