I agree KC that his recent accomplishments are grabbing a lot of attention. Just a short while ago, he was only good for the beginning rounds of a Major and now, seemingly overnight he's considered a Contender for at least the Semis of a Major, which is huge.

Once you've made it to the Semis of a Major, anything can happen ala Djokovic vs Roddick, Australian Open. If Djokovic had not gotten over whelmed by the heat, Novak could have easily changed the dynamics of the Event.

But this is about Fernando and I suppose I'm saying, if he should continue his success and do well at Roland Garros, anything can happen. He has the tools to beat Rafael but he right now, he lacks the mental constitution.

In other words, I question if he believes he's good enough to beat a Roger or Rafael? If Federer continues to lose in the manner that he is, Players like Fernando will play at his best throughout the Match regardless of how close it becomes and does have the weapons to pull of an upset of the magnitude.
The only acceptable loss is when your opponent was better than you on that given day.
It is never acceptable to lose when your opponent was not.
